Why I don't feel like a Cancer Moon?

I have a scorpio decan of cancer moon trine to pluto in scorpio and is opposite to my mars in capricorn. I read a lot of articles decribing Cancer Moon sign and I don't think I fit in the describtion at all. The way they describe cancer moon: nurturing, softie, leaving emotions on sleeves, over sensitive, caring, warm -hearted, not taking on the challenges bla bla bla. I feel I have rather deep feelings and I don't tend to show it. And yes, i am sensitive but i always control my emotions. Maybe thats because i have aries rising and my ruling planet mars in capricorn and midheaven too? I feel like more competitive like aries moon and like to have challenges most of the time. I tend to not care but want to be cared! I have an instant love or hate relationship with people and my feelings are always intense, maye thats because pluto in 7th house? Im confused a lil bit because I don't think i feel like cancer moon in describtion. I am more competitive, dominant and controlling rather than nurturing cancer! Can you elaborate on this?
