Can any body solve my civil dispute ?

i have a house in my father's name & we stay that house which he had bought from his father according to civil law. but my big father(father's elder brothers) have done case on that house and the case is now in the court. but now we want to remodel that house. then how can we do that.is there any civil rule that a person can built house during a case is not finished. can any layer or civil knowledge person help me. i m from orissa juris diction of india
