Stealing in a store .?

so , say if your in a store(target) with three friends. one of the three friends runs off and steals headphones . but the other two friends continue shopping with cash, and eventually buy and and get ready to leave. is it in the store jurestest diction i guess you would say . to stop all three of you and call of three of your parents even if your seventeen years old aha. and banned all three ? sorry my expliantion was kinda of funky . but this happended to a few of my friends and i think its so stupid. if it was me we would have some issues aha.
