Theme help for 1984 by George Orwell?

Themes in 1984 are appearance vs reality (o'brien is a good example of this and The Book is not all that it seems, neither is the man who owns the shop), constant government surveilance of civilians, political control through language manipulation ("the whole aim of newspeak is to narrow the range of thought"), rewriting history to control the past ("who controls the past controls the future...who controls the present, controls the past"), loss of individuality/alientation/rebellion ("three hundred million people all with the same face"). Hope that helps.
