Does he want a relationship or sex?

So I met this guy in one of my college classes (I'm 18, he's 22) and we spent the whole quarter lightly flirting, but when it ended I didn't think I'd see him again. About a week after classes got out, he added me on facebook and asked me for my number. So we texted a bit and about a week later we went on our first date and got coffee. We got a long really well and he hugged me a lot. When we walked out to my car he told me that I made him really nervous.He hugged me again but didn't try to kiss me. Like 20 minutes after I got a text from him with just a smiley face. Then later he said that we should go out again. He's texted me everyday since that. Today told me that he thought I was gorgeous. I really like him because he seems so sweet and kinda shy, but I can't get over the thought that maybe he's just trying to get into my parts. What do you guys think?
